About Emma
Emma is a true creative and Animal Advocate at The Haven. She is an actress, illustrator, poet, amazing creative cook and baker.
At twelve years old, her paintings were capturing and portraying the soul consciousness of each horse she drew. She has the natural ability to draw the unseen characteristics of their essence and bring them to life on canvas. Her inspiration for writing began whilst training at Double Edge Theatre, a stunning hill town in Massachusetts, USA. Under the vast starry skies, poetry and writing began to flow. It was to be a creative experience that allowed her freedom of expression to be unleashed and challenge the status quo of many idealised perceptions society holds. Her first solo book ‘Making Waves’ was published in 2019, which has led to writing for a number of online media networks.

Emma’s artwork and poetry
Emma’s artwork and poetry accompany Helen’s writing in Belief and Beyond Belief ‘A Time of Transition.’Together they have an intuitive connection which is reflected in the way they create simultaneously. Engaged in the transparency of this biological intelligence, they work in harmony, sensing and feeling what each needs to do to create a combined work, of art and text. Following this guided sense they share solidarity. They understand the same concepts and principles, that are bound differently in their respective ages and although looking through their individual genre of focus, both see the same answer. In whichever way we reach our truth, regardless of our age, gender, race, nationality, lifestyle or culture, the destination is the same. It is this place where they connect and work together.
Emma’s artwork in the books are a meditative guide to help focus and centre the mind. They are aids or virtual mirrors to enable the reader to search within themselves for their answers. Holding a concentrated focus upon her art, can help us let go of the outside influences that distract us from mastering our thoughts and the power they can hold over us. “My desire to paint philosophical ideas and play with them using nature, strikes through the work I produce. I have a theme of structure that places emphasis on what lies at the heart of life and that which speaks to us from behind the scene of existence. I present these ideas with physical structures, using animals, nature and global factors. Bringing to life what stands behind the facades we see. Where does our being come from? I paint the potency nature provides at answering this question for each individual.”
